Is Vet Tix legitimate? ›

Vet Tix is committed to helping put veterans and service members (including Reserve and Guard) in empty seats at games and events across the nation. We are a nonprofit that channels more than 95 percent of its revenues directly into programs.

The 1st Tix Tickets for Responders program, powered by Vet Tix, is dedicated to giving back to those who have given us so much. We team up with major sports teams, leagues, promoters, organizations, venues, and every day event ticket holders to provide free tickets to our military and 1st responders.

Every week thousands of tickets are available to veterans, service members, and family members of those killed in action enabling them go to major sports games, concerts, and many other ticketed events.

Generally, military discounts are only available through the venue's box office. Contact the venue to inquire about active or veteran military discounts. When they're available through Ticketmaster, military discounts will be part of your ticket type options.

Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches of currently-serving Military and Veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA. Vet Tix secures tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation.

Additionally, NFL teams donate an undisclosed number of game tickets to the Veterans Ticket Foundation, which offers free and discounted tickets to veterans, military service members and their families on VetTix.com. However, not every team donates tickets to the foundation.

Major donors also monitor events and open ticket markets for the sale of donated tickets. If a member is identified as selling a ticket that was donated to them by the Foundation, that Veteran will be flagged and their privilege to request tickets to all future events will be rescinded. NO excuse will be considered!

Those eligible for 1^st Tix membership include Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, EMTs, 911 Dispatchers, and Nurses. Sign up for these programs is free.

Nearly twenty years after Focareto began working on his project, Vet Tix today has some 25 employees serving 2.1 million active users in the system, donating 12,200 to 13,300 tickets a day for events across the US.

How to get vettix coins? ›

Vet Tix members automatically receive two coins per month, but there are many other ways to earn coins. From referring friends to submitting feedback after an event, there are plenty of opportunities. Each lottery requires a minimum of one coin to submit a ticket request.
