🌟 Kudos to our MWMS Community Champions! 🌟👏Huge applause to Izzy Chang and Ari Castillo from Marcus Whitman Middle School for their second food drive triumph! They rallied their AVID classmates and collected an amazing 1,802 pounds of food and supplies for South Kitsap Helpline! But wait, the spotlight isn't just on Izzy and Ari! Massive shoutouts to their teammates Princess Yamomo, Malachi Fletcher, and Evan Stewart, along with all AVID classmates who joined forces to make this drive a smashing success! 🙌Jeannette Murphy, Director of Agency Food Programs & Operations with South Kitsap Helpline, shared her gratitude, saying: "Yesterday, I picked up 1,802 lbs of food, hygiene, cleaning supplies, etc. All of it is so very much needed as we approach our summer program to feed kids during school break. The girls also coordinated with Fred Meyer (who they asked to donate the bags so customers wouldn't have to pay that extra fee - I love that so much!
