I agree with you, gaming is taking a sad and dark turn with the focus on service-sh*t and gachatrash where the ambition is to "hook" people for money over time rather than a pay-once-for-a-product. But it's harder than it looks. You never hear about the dead gachas, the ones that never make it off the ground. You hear about the same 5-10 big ones that print infinite money but don't forget that there are tens of thousands of dead gachas that will never reach those heights. Gacha sucks ass but whale-hunting is a bloodthirsty business and very few reach as far as they'd want.

Ganker has always praised BG3, regardless of what you think about the game, this board has always been more lenient to certain games if it pisses off /misc/tards
